Sounded.com is one of the leading independent audiobook publishers. We launched our services at the London Book Fair in April 2023 and have grown from strength to strength since.

Producing nearly 2000 audiobooks in our first 12 months, we are members of the UK Publishers Association, Independent Publishers Guild, Audio Publishers Association and Alliance of Independent Authors. We work closely with authors and publishers from around the world to create fantastic audiobooks and turn them into success stories.

We’re currently accepting submissions from first-time writers; self-published authors; published authors (including those whose rights have reverted to them); and agents who hold world-wide English and foreign language audiobook rights.

By submitting your audiobook to Sounded, you will join a community of award-winning authors who use our platform across USA Today, Sunday Times and New York Times bestsellers, including Rosie Wylor-Owen, Rohan Candappa, Kate Darroch, Ian C Douglas and many many more.

Please note: we receive a large volume of submission each month. Whilst we read every, we simply don’t have the resource reply to every applicant. If you don’t hear from us within one month, please assume your audiobook submission is unsuccessful on this occasion. We encourage you to resubmit to us as soon as possible with another title for consideration as we’re always on the look-out for the next great audiobook listen.

WHAT WE PRODUCE & PUBLISH

  • Our favourite genres are Fiction, Mystery, Science Fiction, Biography/Memoir, History, Young Adult, Business/Finance, Self-Help, Adventure, Crime/Detective, suspense, thrillers, Romance, Fantasy and much more. We also love lost classics from the 60s, 70s and 80s which are out of print.
  • We encourage all writers & authors, including from all backgrounds, to submit their work and make their voices heard.
  • We seek out amazing stories, and new ideas, excellent writing and original voices; in short authors who say something interesting about the world as they see it.
  • It doesn’t matter if you’re new to writing, have a debut novel or book, or are well established, we’re here to find the next great listen, whatever that may be.
  • Submissions are welcome from anywhere in the world. Our platform can handle 60 languages and we publish and distribute audiobooks in over 60 languages, not just in English.
  • We accept submissions from first-time writers with only one book under their belt, previously published authors (including self-published authors) with long backlists, agents, and anyone in between.
  • We will only look at erotica titles in exceptional cases. Submissions which are prepared using AI or AI tools must be labelled as such, including which AI tools or resources were used to assist draft the submission.
